Support your Business through Peer to Peer Networks
13th July, 2021
Yesteday I met with Keith and Jacqui Jackson of Thomas Jardine & Co, a local business based at The Guild in Carlisle who are partnering with the Cumbria Local Economic Partnership to deliver the BEIS Peer-to-Peer Networks Programme for Small and Mid-Sized businesses in Cumbria.
The next programme is due to start this September and will run through to March 2022. (see attached flyer).
This programme is a great way to give yourself time to look at your business in a professional environment with the opportunity to meet with other business owners to discuss, analyse and work your way through various aspects of your businesses together.
Having attended a similar course a couple of years ago, I can thoroughly recommend this as an approach. It gives you the space you need away from the day to day running of your business, putting you with other business leaders into the hands of experienced facilitators, to work together, share experiences and learn from each other ways to adapt change and adjust your business and to shape your future.
The places are fully funded and available to businesses meeting the following criteria:
- Min 5 employees (full time or part time or associates)(either now or pre COVID)
- Min £100k turnover
- Min 1 year trading
- Growth mindset preferable
If this is of interest to you, please email me at [email protected] and I will pass your details on to Keith and Jacqui.
If you do not meet the criteria but would be interested in receiveing business support, please also email me as we would like to hear from our members and local business regarding business support needs and ideas for future opportunities. We are aware that there may be funding available if we are able to generate enough support and interest.
Kind Regards
Stephen Macaulay, President, Penrith Chamber of Trade & Commerce
