Nominations for Penrith Chamber of Trade and Commerce Local Charity of the Year

Penrith Chamber of Trade and Commerce Local Charity of the Year is being undertaken for the first year this year and we are calling for local charities to be nominated to be its current local charity of the year.
Heidi Marshall, current President, says: - “There are so many amazing charities in the local area, who do brilliant work in our community, it’s hard to pick one to support but having an annual Chamber Charity gives our members a choice to voice their opinion and support a Charity close to their hearts.”
The scheme is open to any UK registered charity, so anyone who works for a charity, or would like to encourage a local charity to apply, can request a nomination form from [email protected]
Nominations close on the 26th January 2018 and the shortlisted charities will be announced at The Chamber AGM on Tuesday 6th February 2018, being held at The George Hotel. We will then ask our members to vote on the shortlisted charities to determine the Penrith Chamber of Trade and Commerce Local Charity of the Year 2018.
The winning charity will then receive a year of support from the Chamber, which will include a donation and awareness raising.
